2 cups romaine lettuce (washed and chopped)
1 grilled chicken breast (sliced)
2 tablespoons Caesar dressing (preferably light or homemade)
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (grated)
1/4 cup croutons (optional, for crunch)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (optional, for garnish)
Preparation
Grill the chicken: Season the chicken breast with a pinch of salt and pepper. Grill the chicken on medium heat for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
Prepare the salad: In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing. Toss until the lettuce is well-coated with the dressing.
Assemble the salad: Add the sliced grilled chicken on top of the lettuce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and, if desired, top with croutons for extra crunch.
Season and garnish: Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with lemon wedges for a fresh citrusy kick.
